Since the establishment of the Beijing Queer Film Festival in 2001, it has been more than 20 years to organize queer video screenings. For a long time, the screenings were more concentrated in Beijing. Screening has become an indispensable activity in many LGBT groups, and even more and more screening organizations now specialize in organizing queer units. We have invited organizers who participated in the screenings in different cities of the Love Queer Cinema Week, as well as queer organizations. Individuals and organizations of video screenings, let’s talk about how to organize queer video screenings, and what is the local audience’s discussion of video? How queer imagery can engage and advance social discourse and awareness of gender issues.
